Ethics and stem cell research in the Nordic countries
The Nordic Committee on Bioethics was commissioned by NordForsk to prepare an analytical study of ethical, legislative and social aspects on stem cell research. For this purpose, a multidisciplinary working group of committee members and external experts was appointed. It was chaired by Dr. Ingileif Jónsdóttir from Iceland and secretaries were Helena von Troil, Secretary of the Nordic Committee on Bioethics and Dr. Jakob Elster, University of Oslo. The report was published at the Nordic Council meeting in Oslo on 30.10.2007. Read the report:
